When our Founders were creating TickTalk, it was important that our smartwatches not only kept families safely connected, but also helped children create lifelong habits. Do Not Disturb Class Mode was added to encourage kids to focus and limit distractions when it's time to concentrate.
Pause all notifications during Do Not Disturb times
During DND mode, only the screen remains on to show the time to limit distractions. However, the watch can still be tracked by the Parent/Admin during DND and any messages sent will come through as soon as the DND mode time limit is up.
Save up to 10 DND time slots
Save up to 10 DND time slots in your TickTalk parental control app. Choose times to repeat daily for homework, school, or whatever you’d like your child to focus on. To add a DND time, go to your TickTalk App Settings > Do Not Disturb > + sign in the upper right-hand corner. Enter your label, start and end times, any days to repeat, select confirm, and your DND time will save.
Emergency SOS works even when your watch is on Do Not Disturb (DND) Mode
Emergency SOS is the only feature that will work when your child’s TickTalk is on Do Not Disturb Mode to keep your child safe in case of emergency. Your child can press and hold the red button on the side of your TickTalk to automatically call whoever you dedicate as the Emergency SOS contact. If your Emergency SOS contact doesn't answer, your TickTalk will automatically call the first 2 contacts saved as your Parent Shortcut Dial icons.
