TickTalk4: Why arent I receiving TickTalk App notifications on my Android 13?

Some Android users have reported not receiving their TickTalk App notifications after the Android 13 release which automatically opted them out of default push notifications. To opt-in and continue receiving TickTalk notifications, please follow the troubleshooting method below.

Enable the TickTalk notifications from Android or Google Pixel phones:

1. Press and hold the TickTalk icon to enter the App Info

2. Click “Battery”

3. Select "Unrestricted"

Depending on your make and model, your Android notifications can be limited between 25-50 per app. To ensure you’re receiving new TickTalk notifications, you can clear previous notifications using the three methods below:

  • To clear one notification, swipe it left or right.
  • To clear all notifications, scroll to the bottom of your notifications and tap Clear All.
  • To clear all silent notifications, next to "silent notifications," tap Close.
