If your TickTalk is properly connected to cellular data, there will be at least one bar and the oval connection icon illuminated in white, which can be found in the control center. GSM network customers will see either 2G, 3G, or 4G. The area you live in will determine the strength of the cellular data.
- If you have your TickTalk 5 connected to your local Wi-Fi network with a connected SIM card, there will be a box labeled with whatever cellular service you are using, if you using TickTalk Wireless or RedPocket T-mobile service the text will state 'Wireless', there will be at least one bar, the Wi-Fi icon, and the oval connection icon will be illuminated in white in the control center.
- If your SIM card is not working or you are not using one but are connected to Wi-Fi, there will not be any bars but you should see the Wi-Fi icon and the oval icon illuminated in white.
- If the oval connection icon is grey, you are not connected to Wi-Fi or cellular data. We made this video for more information on connecting to Wi-Fi.
